The UK has announced a 2-year graduate immigration route to allow international students to work or search for work at any skill level after they graduate from an undergraduate course or higher at a UK university.
Earlier, international students were permitted to stay in the country for only four to six months after completing their studies. However, under the new immigration policy international students will be allowed to stay in the country for up to 2 years after graduating starting from Summer 2021. The post-study work visa (PSW Visa) will enable eligible students to work or job hunt at any skill level, and they will be able to switch to the skilled work route if they find a job which meets its requirements.
