Full eligibility criteria 

Scholarships will be awarded to particularly deserving applicants to Business Masters programmes in 2023/24: These awards are open to all international applicants. 

To be considered for the scholarship you must: 

• Be classified as an International student for fee purposes 

• Have applied for an eligible Business Masters programme for 2023/2024

• Be a self-funding student 

• Demonstrate an excellent academic track record, and be predicted to achieve or have achieved a Bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) or equivalent 

• Show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities 

• Demonstrate the potential to contribute to the social and cultural diversity of our Masters programmes and student community. 

Value: 50% reduction in tuition fees for each of the three years of study.

Who is eligible: There are up to 50 scholarships available for self-funding applicants classed as International for fee purposes and who apply for Level 1 entry to an undergraduate course at Leeds University Business School.

Full eligibility criteria

The tuition fee reduction of 50% is for three years only and only against full fees. The year in industry or year abroad are not eligible. The scholarship will only be offered in subsequent years if the associated academic performance conditions have been met. Repeat years are not covered under this scheme.

Applicants progressing from the Leeds International Study Centre Foundation Year and the Leeds International Foundation Year programme are not eligible for this award.

Each year we award a number of Sports Scholarships to selected high performing athletes who demonstrate aspirations to compete at the highest levels within their chosen sport. In order to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be competing in a BUCS, Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth sports. We welcome applications from students from all backgrounds including international students.

Our scholarship programme recognises the individuality of each athlete, and that needs differ from sport to sport so we provide a unique approach that tailors our scholarships to the needs of each individual athlete.

For this coming year there are two levels of support available with ‘Sport Scholars’ having maximum access to support services, and ‘Supported Athletes’ who will benefit from a wide range of services we offer to enable athletes to train to the highest level.

This years ‘Sport Scholars’ will have unique access to our brand new ‘Performance Gap Analysis’ service, in which a dedicated  member of our sport science team will work with athletes to identify specific performance limiters and help develop effective solutions.

The services and benefits available to those given a place on the programme include:

• Performance Gap Analysis service (Sport Scholars only)

Summary: Scholarships are available to international postgraduate professionals with a high level of excellence in their current profession.

Who is eligible: All international professionals applying to MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine

Conditions

A relevant clinical or biomedical/physiotherapy degree. Students must also be able to demonstrate a high level of professional excellence in their current profession via their application form e.g. they are acting in a professional support capacity (SEM or allied discipline) to national sporting bodies. Students must not be in receipt of any other University of Leeds award.

Value: 10%, 25% or 50%

Full eligibility criteria

The scholarships will be awarded to particularly deserving applicants to the full-time MBA starting in September 2023. Candidates will be assessed by their responses on their application form and their performance at interview with the MBA Programme Director.

Value: Fees, maintenance, return economcy travel and other allowances.

Who is eligible: Fully funded scholarships for candidates applying for one of the eligible Chevening full-time taught Masters courses.

Co-funded Chevening scholarships

Leeds University Business School offers co-funded scholarships for students from eligible Chevening countries who are interested in applying for the following Masters programmes at Leeds University Business School:

• MSc International Business: Chevening scholarship open to applicants from all Chevening eligible countries.

• MSc Economics: Chevening scholarship open to applicants from China.
