The Courtauld Institute of Art is the world’s leading centre for the study of the history and conservation of art and architecture and is part of the University of London.
Facilities for students include libraries, the Research Forum which offers access to visiting speakers from around the world and The Courtauld Gallery‘s outstanding collection of paintings, drawings and prints, sculpture and decorative arts.
The Courtauld offers an undergraduate History of Art programme, as well as a wide range of postgraduate courses. MPhil and PhD study is also available.
Students who have firmly accepted an offer for a course at least one academic year in duration are invited to complete an application form for the accommodation Courtauld offer. Allocations are determined primarily by distance and prior study in the UK, with international and first-year BA students given priority at Duchy House, located on the Strand in central London.
The Courtauld Institute of Art is located at Somerset House, a large community of creative businesses, artists and makers, in central London.
Courtauld alumni include museum directors, curators, academics and conservators, as well as lawyers, publishers, journalists, musicians, politicians and teachers.
I had a very great experience right from the start to finish; All the staff were really great and very helpful. I recommend SI-UK for all students who are planning to study in the UK.
