Edge Hill University’s Language Centre is located on the ground floor of the new £6m Law and Psychology building, which has contemporary teaching and learning facilities with a 265-seat Harvard style lecture theatre. The Language Centre is accredited by The British Council and BALEAP (The Global Forum for EAP Professionals) and is also a member of English UK.

In 2018 the Language Centre was ranked as a “New Centre of Excellence” by the EL Gazette, based on the number of strengths received in the British Council report. The Language Centre also ranked in the top 3 university language centres according to the EL Gazette.
Edge Hill University accommodation was voted the best student accommodation in the UK according to the WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2017, and the National Student Housing Survey Awards 2016. The Halls of Residence are at the heart of a vibrant on-campus community, providing a safe environment in which new students can live, study and socialize.
Edge Hill University is in the town of Ormskirk in the north-west of England. Sites of natural beauty such as the Lake District and Peak District are close by, while nearby international airports in Manchester and Liverpool make international travel easy. Ormskirk is a traditional British market town, with London and Edinburgh just three hours away by train. The seaside town of Blackpool is also close by.
I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
