Services for International Students

A number of different programmes and modules exist to cater for each individual student needs.

English for University Study Program

If you plan on studying an academic course in the UK, the English for University Study Programme will help improve your English skills and confidence to make the most of your degree. It provides students with the skills needed to effectively study in a UK environment, with particular focus on language, study and professional skills and UK academic culture.

Pre-sessional programme

The pre-sessional programme is a full-time, intensive English language course designed for international students with an offer to study at Cardiff University. The pre-sessional programme is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students preparing to start courses in September.

In-sessional English language support

The in-sessional English language support team will assist students enrolled at the university with support during their academic study.
