York Academic Excellence Scholarships 2020

The University of York is offering over 100 international scholarships as part of the Academic Excellence Scholarships. The University is a leading UK university for academic excellence; ranked 148th in the QS World University Rankings 2020 with seven world top 100 subjects in the QS World University Rankings by subject 2019. York guarantees its students a truly international student experience with over 4,000 of their 18,000 students coming from outside of the UK, and representing more than 140 countries. 

Academic Excellence Scholarships

York’s Academic Excellence Scholarships award over 100 international scholarships per year, recognising academic excellence by applying a tuition fee discount. Awards range from £2,500 - £15,000 as a tuition fee deduction. Ten prestigious Vice-Chancellor's scholarships are available for the highest achieving students.

Applications for the scholarship are open and in order to apply, students must:

Students must apply online and only need to make one application. Students will be considered for all of the awards they are eligible for.  

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Thursday 30 April 2020.
