Warwick University Ranked Among the World’s Best for Several Subject Areas

Sixteen subject areas taught at the University of Warwick are ranked in the World Top 100 as revealed by the QS World University Rankings 2021. 

The latest global rankings are a boost for the University of Warwick who are celebrating their strong performance in subject areas such as business, statistics, mathematics, economics and english language and literature. 

The rankings compiled by global higher education analysts QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), are based on the evaluation of 14,435 university programmes. The survey was taken by students at 1,452 universities across the world.

Warwick’s highest ranking subjects are mathematics (21st) and statistics (21st). Other top 20 subject areas include English language and literature (22nd), business and management studies at Warwick Business School (24th) and economics (25th).

History - 42nd

Philosophy - 43rd

Accounting and Finance (Warwick Business School) - 44th

Performing Arts (theatre studies) - 49th

Communication and Media Studies (film and television studies) - 51-100

Politics and International Studies - 51-100

Modern Languages - 55th

Sociology - 58th

Psychology - 62nd

Law - 93rd

Computer Science and Information Systems - 96th
