Warwick named Most Affordable University Town in the UK

New research by TotallyMoney has named the University of Warwick as the most affordable university town in the UK.

The report looked at the top 50 UK universities in the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018, comparing weekly rent, cinema ticket prices, monthly gym membership, cappuccino cost, meal cost, the price of a pint, the cost of a kebab, and the price of a cab from the town centre to the university.

Warwick, who are the 9th best university in the UK, had a weekly university hall rent of just £72 per week, as well as the second cheapest kebab cost of top 50 universities in the UK. Joining Warwick at the top of the ranking were the University of East Anglia (£54 per week rent) and Swansea University (£2.19 pints).
