University of Sussex with excellent World Ranking has achieved Indian Bar Council Recognition

 In addition to placing in the world top 150, The University of Sussex has recently achieved some truly excellent results in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for the following faculty results.

Indian Bar Council Recognition

University of Sussex Law School is now recognised by the Bar Council of India under Section 24(1)(c) of the Advocates Act 1961. The three and four year LLB law courses are accepted as part of the educational route to become a practicing lawyer in India, subject to the Bar Council of India’s recognition criteria.

Application, Acceptance and Accommodation deadlines

Applications for postgraduate courses at the University of Sussex are now open with some changes in relation to deadlines this year:

The PG application deadline for non-EU students is implemented to be on the 1st of August 2018 in order to ensure all students have time to apply for their visa prior to the start of term. 

Acceptance deadlines for PG applicants with offers are also implemented. These deadlines will be throughout the year and will depend on when the offer is made. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance deadline on the offer letter itself and by email. 

The deadline for applying for accommodation under accommodation guarantee is

For undergraduate: 30th of June

For postgraduate: 1st of August

Applicants are strongly advised to apply for accommodation before this date.
