University of Sheffield Engineering Scholarships Available for Application

The University of Sheffield has announced a number of engineering scholarships worth up to £3,000 will be available to overseas students starting an undergraduate engineering degree in September 2023.

Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2023

The Sheffield scholarships will be awarded to overseas fee-status undergraduate students who exceed the academic conditions of Sheffield's standard UCAS offer. Candidates who attain A-level grades of A*AA or above will receive the Excellence Scholarship. The deadline to submit your Sheffield application is June 30th.

Sheffield will offer the scholarship in the form of a cash bursary at the start of your course, should you be eligible. The scholarship amount is dependent on your academic achievement:

• A*A A: £1,000
• A*A*A: £2,000
• A*A*A*: £3,000

Indian Qualification Equivalent

A*A A:

• Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 90%
• Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 85%
• Class 12 (other state boards) – 91%

AAA

• Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 85%
• Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 80%
• Class 12 (other state boards) – 90%

AAB

• Class 12 (CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) – 80%
• Class 12 (West Bengal Board) – 75%
• Class 12 (other state boards) – 85%

To be eligible, you must make Sheffield your first (firm) choice in the UCAS application process for 2023 entry, be an undergraduate student and be taking all prerequisite subjects for your selected degree.
