Hull believe that without quality researchers, there can be no quality research and for this reason, the university is investing £3 million in over 50 PhD scholarships to further its research endeavors. Many of the projects are interdisciplinary and are in collaboration with industry.
The scholarships will cover successful students' tuition fees as well as their stipendiary living costs, adding up around £19,000 per year.
The students will become a part of vibrant and forward thinking community and will remain engrossed in tackling a range of issues, from exploring cultures through music and language to the stresses placed on our oceans as a result of climate change and pollution.
Hull prides on supporting its students and to ensure their full potential, the university requires all postgraduate research students to undertake Post Graduate Training Scheme that adds value to their postgraduate research experience. It is free of charge.
This research program with PGTS enhances students’ employability and prepares them for the many tasks and challenges in their research environment and subsequent career.
Deadline for application: 8 February, 2018
I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
