The University of Edinburgh has been ranked the best university in the UK for the study of medicine by the Guardian University Guide 2022.
Edinburgh is a popular Scottish university for international students looking to get ahead in their career. The MBChB Medicine programme at the University lasts for six-years and will equip students with the "knowledge, understanding and skills you need to become a Foundation Year 1 doctor".
The rest of the top five consisted of the University of Aberdeen, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, the Swansea University, the only Welsh university in the top 10, and Oxbridge giant the University of Oxford.
