All Indian students who are unable to return to their home country because of coronavirus have been granted an automatic extension until May 31st by the UK Government.
The extension will apply to any student whose visa expired after January 24th who cannot leave the UK because of travel restrictions or self-isolation. It will initially last until May 31st, but will be kept under regular review as the situation regarding the virus remains fluid. A dedicated coronavirus immigration team has been set up, ensuring the process moves as straightforward as possible.
Home Secretary, Priti Patel, said, “By extending people’s visas, we are giving people peace of mind and also ensuring that those in vital services can continue their work.”

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
