Heriot-Watt University, which is also the 8th oldest university in the UK has nearly 25% international students. One of the most recognised university globally; the university was recently ranked 46th in the world and 17th in the UK in the top 200 most international universities in the world. The list was dominated by UK universities.
The University was established as one of the world’s first mechanics institute in 1821. Today, it is one of the top UK University for Mechanical Engineering. Heriot-Watt offers a 5 year Engineers of the Future program, which gives a unique opportunity to the students to combine a Masters degree with a vocational degree and get industrial experience as well.
The university is also offering 10% fee remission to selected Indian students as part of the India scholarship.
