The Times Higher Education 2022 University of the Year nominations have been announced with six universities making the final shortlist.
Amongst them, two universities from the north-east are shortlisted - Newcastle University and Northumbria University - whilst Edinburgh Napier University is the only nominated university from Scotland. Loughborough, Plymouth and Sheffield Hallam complete the nominees with the winner to be announced at the Hilton London Metropole on the evening of 17th November.
THE editor John Gill said: “This is the 18th year that the THE Awards will celebrate the best that UK higher education has to offer, across 20 categories covering all aspects of university activity.
“Once again, the shortlists reflect universities doing extraordinary things in extraordinary times, during the 2020/21 academic year, when the pandemic continued to force higher education and all who work in it to respond to an unprecedented challenge."

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
