Solent University in Top 30 in National Student Survey 2019
The National Student Survey 2019 ranked Solent University amongst the top 30 universities in the UK. With an overall satisfaction rate of 82%, the University scored above the sector average in six of the nine survey areas - learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support, learning resources, learning community and student voice.
Professor Graham Baldwin said about Solent’s performance, “This is testament to the great work that goes on across the University, as well as the fantastic partnerships we have in place with the local community and key stakeholders. The University prides itself on offering an excellent student experience, and it is so rewarding to see that this is reflected in the results of the survey.”
Solent University also moved up in the Times Higher Education European Teaching Rankings 2019 which assesses universities across parameters including teaching quality, student engagement, teaching environment and learning outcomes.
In the Guardian University Guide 2020, Solent University climbed 8 places while five subjects including Criminology, English, Law, Mechanical Engineering and Media & Film Studies were ranked in the top 30.
