Nottingham Trent University has risen to its highest ever position at #12 in the Guardian University Guide 2020. The University has moved four places up from 16th position last year and continues to maintain its upward trajectory over the last five years. The new and improved rankings demonstrate high levels of student satisfaction and graduate employment rates. The rankings also take into consideration the teaching outcomes and the amount spent by the university on every student.
NTU also performed well in the subject rankings with NTU placed in the top 5 for accounting and finance, agriculture, forestry & food and in the top 10 for building, town & country planning, fashion & textiles, economics, journalism, publishing and public relations, philosophy and psychology.
NTU has been named University of the Year 2019 by The Guardian, based upon its performance in the Guardian University League table last year.
