The School of Engineering at the University of Plymouth has introduced a new postgraduate programme in Autonomous Systems. The new MSc in Autonomous Systems is a one year full-time masters degree programme aimed at providing strong skills in marine and robotic autonomy. This programme is useful to gain specialist knowledge in a wide variety of sectors including:
The course will be taught by world’s leading experts and members of organisations such as the Autonomous Marine Systems (AMS) Research Group, the Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems (CRNS), the Maritime Cyber Threats research group and the Big Data Group. Students will be taught skills such as artificial intelligence in decision-making, guidance, machine learning, security, communication, networking, navigation, control and sensor fusion and data management. Students will also have an opportunity to work on industry based projects on autonomous systems with the support of their labs and test facilities.
