The Office for Students (OfS) has announced the results of the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). Out of the 129 higher education institutions in the UK with university status, 33 of them received a gold rating, 66 silver, and 4 were awarded a bronze rating.
TEF ratings are provided across three categories:
i. Overall Experience Rating
ii. Student Experience
iii. Student Outcome
The ratings indicate how effectively a provider offers a high-quality experience and results for its diverse group of undergraduate students across its undergraduate courses and disciplines.
