Lancaster University has risen to its highest ever ranking in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide league table this year and has been named as University of the Year 2018.
While climbing to 6th place in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018, it was also awarded Best Campus University and Best University in the North West.
Lancaster, a public research university situated in the City of Lancaster, Lancashire, England is recognised as outstanding in research, teaching and the student experience and proudly holds several high Rankings on notable platforms.
Holding its highest ever Institutional Ranking of 6th place within the Guide's National Table Lancaster remains a prestigious triple top ten university in the UK in latest rankings by The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide, The Guardian University Guide and The Complete University Guide
Lancaster is one of only six collegiate universities in the UK and one of only nine universities to be ranked in the top 10 across all national league tables of UK universities. Earlier this year the University was also awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework. Many degrees at Lancaster rank quite high on the list such as Accounts (3rd), Business Studies (4th), Biological Studies (5th), Math (9th) and Chemistry (9th).
The modern interpretation of a collegiate structure, flexible degree programmes and academics committed to teaching as well as research has placed Lancaster with an outstanding score of 91% in the National Student Survey 2017 for Student Satisfaction. The opportunities many students get to work abroad, is reflected in Lancaster’s outstanding 97.6% graduate prospects (DLHE) once they leave.
