La Universidad de Edimburgo es nombrada la Universidad más sostenible del Reino Unido

La Universidad de Edimburgo ha sido nombrada la universidad más sostenible del Reino Unido tras el lanzamiento de la Clasificación mundial de universidades QS 2023 para la sostenibilidad.

La Universidad ocupó el cuarto lugar a nivel mundial (de 700 instituciones de educación superior) y obtuvo una puntuación de 98,3 sobre 100 en impacto social y fue la única institución con sede en el Reino Unido que figura entre las 10 mejores del mundo en impacto ambiental con una puntuación de 81,5 sobre 100.

El profesor Peter Mathieson, director y vicecanciller de la Universidad de Edimburgo, dijo: "Estas clasificaciones reflejan los esfuerzos de nuestro personal y estudiantes para hacer que la Universidad de Edimburgo sea más ambiental y socialmente responsable".
