Indian students who have finalised their UK university and course and secured a UK visa can now start booking their international flights. Direct international flight operations to the UK will resume in August and many commercial airlines will start operating in this sector.
According to the latest reports, British Airways will be operating direct flights to London Heathrow Airport from four Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad starting from 17th August. Other operators such as SpiceJet have also announced plans to resume flight operations to the UK between September and October. The flight operations will have limited frequency at present and it will be advisable for students to book their tickets as soon as they can to avoid any rush.
Universities in the UK are ready to welcome students for the September 2020 start ensuring the safety of students and staff and following all safety guidelines issued by the UK Ministry of Home Affairs.
