Glasgow Caledonian University has been ranked in the world's top 150 by the Times Higher Education’s 200 under 50 Rankings 2017.
In the listing of the best universities in the world under the age of 50, GCU features with a position of ‘101 – 150’, marking the Scottish institutions first appearance in the list.
Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Pamela Gillies said: “I am absolutely delighted that our University has achieved this ranking. The fact that GCU has been included for the first time highlights the great strides that we have taken forward as an institution, particularly in our research and international activity.”
The performance indicators are grouped into five areas, spanning teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income.
