The University of Cambridge is to open the doors to five of its famously secretive Colleges via Google Streetview.
Much of the University of Cambridge is open for visitors look around, but certain Colleges have always remained largely closed to the outside world. That is all set to change though as the University granted Google’s Streetview map access to St John's, Gonville and Caius, Newnham, Queens and Trinity Hall Colleges.
The images will provide 360-degree views of the Old Library at St John’s College, the 14th century chapel at Gonville and Caius and Great St Mary’s, the University church. Professor Sir Alan Fersht, Master of Caius, said: "Gonville and Caius is one of the oldest colleges in Cambridge, and the exteriors of our beautiful Old Courts are not only open daily for visitors to admire but can already be seen on Google. The new panoramic interior 'tours' allow anyone virtually to explore the previously hidden beauty of some of Caius's finest architectural gems, and perhaps be inspired to visit this historic college in person.”

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
