The University of Cambridge has been named the best university in the country following the publication of the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017.
Cambridge comfortably finished ahead of its main rival Oxford in the ranking, marking the fourth year in a row it has finished top of the influential league table. The University, which is also ranked as one of the top five higher education institutions in the world, also finished first in 30 of the 67 subject league tables also published.
The top five remained the same as in 2016, with only St Andrews (third) and Durham (fourth) swapping places. Other notable risers in the top 50 included SOAS (up nine places to 35th), Harper Adams (up 13 places to 36th) and Liverpool Hope (up 30 places to 49th).

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
