To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, Times Higher Education has ranked the 25 best universities over 400 years old, with three UK universities sitting at the top of the table.
11 different countries feature in the list, but it is the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and University of Edinburgh who occupy the top three positions. The UK is the most represented nation in the list alongside Germany, with six universities featuring overall.
The ranking was compiled using the data collected for the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015-16, but filtered to only include those institutions that are more than 400 years old. The 25 institutions with the highest scores were included in the table.

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
