Times Higher Education’s annual ranking of the Best Young Universities in the World was published this week, with 12 UK institutions featuring in the global top 150.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Bournemouth University, Middlesex University, Northumbria University and the University of Plymouth all featured in the global top 100, whilst Liverpool John Moores University, University of the West of England, SRUC (Scotland’s Rural College), University of Lincoln, University of Portsmouth, Nottingham Trent University and the University of the West of Scotland complete the top 150.
The Young University Rankings focus on global universities that were established within the last 50 years, analysing academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty member, faculty/student ratio, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
