The University of Exeter and the University of Queensland have announced 10 new generous, fully funded PhD studentships that will allow the talented researchers to graduate with a joint PhD from these two institutions.
Students with extra ordinary brilliance are being called upon by The University of Exeter and the University of Queensland to be a part of unparalleled, world-leading, across the pond research team embarking upon considerably major challenges that are being faced by the world population in global perspective of sustainability in addition to the welfare and contentment as part of the recently launched QUEX Institute. This joint PhD program will administer incredible opportunity to the meritorious doctoral students to work collectively with pioneering research groups and will avail the benefit of cumulative proficiency and facilities provided by both the institutions. This illustrious and distinguished program will be equipped with provision of full tuition fees, stipend, travel funds and Research Training Support Grants to the fortunate capable candidates.
The 10 scholarships will be granted to the outstanding applicants, 5 offered by the University of Exeter and 5 by the University of Queensland. This exclusively chosen group will be adorned with a chance to study in the UK and Australia, and will be felicitated with graduation with double degree from the University of Exeter and the University of Queensland.
The acknowledged successful candidates must have a strong academic background as well as a track record that make them eligible to undertake research projects based on one of the three themes of: Physical Activity and Nutrition; Healthy Ageing; and Environmental Sustainability.
Closing date 11 September 2017, with interviews in w/c 25 September 2017. Start date in January 2018.
