The School of Computing and Digital Media at London Met offers high-quality teaching underpinned by strong industry-relevant research. The School provides undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses that can prepare you for a successful career within one of three subject areas:
Our courses are constantly reviewed and updated to ensure they're meeting the demands of employers and many have work-related learning opportunities built into the curriculum. The School is mainly based at our Holloway Road campus, with a small number of courses taught at our campus in Aldgate.
Partnerships in the UK and beyond
The School has established partnerships with other higher education institutions both nationally and internationally – we have partner institutions in countries such as Nepal, Trinidad, Sri Lanka, Spain and Germany as well as in the UK.
Celebrating success and showcasing student work
The School presents an annual summer show where students have the opportunity to showcase their work to the general public at the end of the academic year. The show features a wide range of student work including games, high-tech toys, cyber security and electronics demos, music, films and animations. It is an opportunity for students to develop networking and presentation skills, enhance their portfolios, liaise with industry professionals and show their friends and family what they have achieved. Film students also screen their work at the BFI on London’s South Bank.
One of the UK's first Cisco academies
Our successful Cisco Academy has been in operation since 1998 – it is one of the UK's first Cisco academies with some of the most advanced networking labs in the country. More than 5,000 students have graduated from our Cisco Academy since 1998.
Work experience opportunities
Our courses are designed to prepare our graduates for successful and rewarding careers. You'll benefit from industry connections and work experience opportunities such as those offered to our journalism students through London Met's Diversity Network.
I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
