The WMG Academy for Young Engineers is a University Technical College for 14-19 year old students, which offers an integrated and applied academic and technical curriculum. Associated with The University of Warwick—ranked no.1 university in 2014-15 is currently ranked at no.6 in the UK by Times Higher Education as well as the Guardian.
With two academies–one in Coventry and one in Solihull, the academy provides practical ‘real-life’ problem solving knowledge to the students with primary focus on STEM. The curriculum of the academy has been co-developed with the employer partners. The academy is working with some of the best employer partners: Jaguar Land Rover, ARUP, Automotive Insulations, Dassault Systems, Prodrive, etc.
