The University of Liverpool is the original ‘redbrick’ university. A founding member of the prestigious Russell Group, the top 24 research-led institutions in the UK, the University is associated with nine Nobel Laureates. Liverpool is a global university with pioneering partnerships all over the world.
With more than 75% of their graduates achieving a first or a 2:1, it is no surprise that they are one of the top 25 universities in the UK targeted by leading graduate employers (High Fliers 2020). Out of the 27,000 on-campus students, more than 8,000 are international and EU students from over 130 countries. The University offers a huge range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across three faculties.
Many of their undergraduate programmes include a year in industry, and the School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Computer Science offers a number of two-year master’s programmes which include an invaluable year-long industrial placement.
