The University of Chester was founded in 1839 and went through a number of changes before officially achieving university status in 2005. Results in a recent National Student Survey showed that 88% of Chester students were satisfied with their university experience, well above the national average.
The University of Chester offers a wide variety of degrees, ranging from Zoo Management to Film Production to Archaeology, while Nursing and Midwife courses are located on a specialist site.
University of Chester’s employability record is among the best in the country. More than 92 per cent of recent graduates were in employment or further study within six months of leaving last year. For international students flying in, Manchester and Liverpool airports are a short journey away.
