University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is famous for Humanities, Management, Science.
University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) was founded in 1828 as the ‘Institution of Diffusion of Knowledge’, and became a university in 1992. It offers 350 undergraduate and 250 postgraduate programmes, and it is the only university to offer astronomy degrees designed specifically for distance learning students. Every year, more than 2,000 international students study at the University’s Preston campus, and in 2013 UCLan received full 5 stars at QS awarded for its international approach.
Overall satisfaction among the students have risen from 78.1% to 85.2% over the last 9 years, according to the National Statistics Survey. Also the Accounting(97%), Management Studies(100%), and Mathematics(96%) and Statistics, are in the top 10 in the UK for student satisfaction.
