St. George's University at SI-UK Kolkata

St. George's University was founded as an independent School of Medicine in 1976. The University offers medical and veterinary medical degrees at the Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, as well as independent and dual graduate degrees in science, public health, and business. 

Undergraduate degree programs are also provided through the School of Arts and Sciences, and students may build on their education by pursuing a degree in the School of Graduate Studies.

St. George's University's partnership with Northumbria University has opened up an opportunity for international students to earn a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and complete up to 50% of their degree in the United Kingdom. MD students who begin their studies at Northumbria University will complete one year of integrated basic sciences at the technologically-advanced campus in Grenada.

St. George's University is affiliated with renowned educational institutions worldwide, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. 

As an SGU graduate, students will have access to an alumni network of more than 17,000 MD graduates practising around the world, many of whom have senior hospital roles as Chief Resident or Director and play a key role in determining which residents are hired.
