The institution itself is attached to St George’s Hospital, one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals, and was founded in 1733.
As well as a standard medical degree, St George’s offers a number of related subjects, such as Biomedical Science, Midwifery and Paramedic Science. St George’s boasts impressive employment statistics, with 96% of students across all subjects going on to employment or further study six months after graduating, with the proportion increasing to 100% for medical graduates.
An Advanced Patient Simulator allows students to practice their medical skills on real-life situations, working with computer-controlled mannequins that simulate a wide range of health problems. State-of-the-art labs also help testing a student’s ability to a wide range of medical tasks.
