Heriot-Watt University Dubai visits Delhi
The Heriot-Watt university gets its name from the 16th century philanthropist, George Heriot; and the 18th century inventor and engineer, James Watt. Started way back in 1821 as ‘School of Arts of Edinburgh’, and after few name changes in between, it finally became ‘Heriot-Watt University’ in 1966.
Heriot-Watt is one of the UK’s leading universities in business, science, and engineering. It is also the UK’s first university to create and overseas campus in the Dubai International Academic City. Currently, the Dubai campus has over 3700 students studying in 7 different schools.
