A small, specialist and highly focused international community of artists, designers and architects undertake research at the highest levels. Founded in 1845 with its degrees verified by the University of Glasgow, almost 2,000 students are currently enrolled a third of which are international.
As a prospective student of the Glasgow School of Art, you will work with world-leading academics and find the School an immensely stimulating place to be. A creative hothouse where new ideas are always encouraged and developed through learning, teaching and research which is studio based, face to face, professionally relevant and socially engaged. All students have their own dedicated studio space and there is also an international exchange programme with more than 80 other institutions.
