Arts University Bournemouth was established in 1884 as a specialist institute, and is now one of only fifteen arts universities in the UK. In 2008, the Arts Institute at Bournemouth was awarded Taught Degree Awarding Powers and subsequently became Arts University Bournemouth in July 2009.

Arts University Bournemouth has an extremely high employability rate for graduates from an art institution and has many links with industry, meaning a large number of successful alumni return to teach there. The University’s focus on employability stretches overseas and Bournemouth is involved in numerous international collaborations, partnerships, projects and study-abroad programmes.

Arts University Bournemouth features numerous workshops, a gallery and a purpose-built library with over 50,000 books and more than 45,000 e-books present. Within the library, the Museum of Design in Plastics holds over 12,000 objects which have been specially selected to support courses taught at the university.

I sincerely thank SI-UK for getting me accepted to UCL. The MSc in Urban Development and Planning is extremely competitive, but the right guidance provided by SI-UK made my dream of studying at University College London a reality. The services were exceptional from beginning to end.
