The Unite Foundation scholarship provides students with free purpose-built Unite Students accommodation for three years of study, supporting you to succeed while knowing that you have a place to belong at university. 

Eligibility requirements

Eligible candidates must:

  • hold UK fee status;
  • be aged 25 or under;
  • be a care leaver or are estranged from both parents.
  • hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for the 2018/19 intake (commencing in September 2018); or 
  • currently studying a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL.

You should be able to demonstrate that you are a care leaver, looked after child or estranged from both your parents

Value: benefits and duration

The scholarship provides free accommodation in a property owned by the Unite Group plc (Unite Students), for the duration of the programme subject to satisfactory academic progress. 

The accommodation offered will be at St Pancras Way, 11 St Pancras Way, NW1 0PT. The nearest underground stations are King's Cross, Camden Town/Mornington Crescent, Euston and St Pancras International. Scholars will be offered a single en suite bedroom in a shared flat with a communal fitted kitchen; the flat will be shared with a mixture of other students. Your accommodation will be available to you all year round. This includes through the holiday periods – for as long as you are still eligible for the scholarship.
