One scholarship is available to a new full-time Masters student living and educated in the UK and studying an MA History degree.
The scholarship is offered as a full tuition fee waiver plus £15,300 for living, research and travel costs.
Am I eligible?
You need to be a new full-time Masters student with Home/EU fee status, living and educated in the UK, and applying for a MA History degree. A strong preference will be given to students who have been educated in UK government-funded schools.
You are expected to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree.
You must also hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study at Royal Holloway.
How do I apply?
You must apply by the scholarship deadline of 5pm, 16 March, 2018.
You will need to write a scholarship statement of 500 words maximum which describes your academic achievements and explains why you wish to study your chosen MA. It should indicate what you intend to do in the future, and should demonstrate how you will use the MA to help your future research or career path.
You must also submit two academic references.
Your application will be assessed based on academic performance to date, your scholarship statement and your references.

Additional terms and conditions
The tuition fee waiver will be paid directly to Royal Holloway University on your behalf. The £15,300 for living, research and travel costs will be paid to you directly. No additional payment is offered in any subsequent years.
