Scholarships at Royal Holloway, University of London
|Paul & Pamela Layzell Engineering Excellence scholarship|
|Scholarship Name||Paul & Pamela Layzell Engineering Excellence scholarship|
|Course||Electronic Engineering degree|
Three scholarships are available to new undergraduates enrolling on an Electronic Engineering degree programme in September 2017. Each scholarship is worth £3,500, paid as a cash award in the first year of a Royal Holloway undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering. These scholarships seek to recognise and reward Home/EU students who have a keen interest and strong commitment to a career in Engineering. Applicants for this scholarship are required to be able to demonstrate their commitment to a career in Engineering at interview. This can be demonstrated in a number of different ways, such as through previous activities undertaken, relevant work experience, through their interest in building or deconstructing things and/or by holding relevant academic achievements, which are linked to Engineering. As well as performance at interview, information provided as part of the UCAS application will be taken into consideration.
