Brunel University London is pleased to offer a prestigious package of scholarships for International students. The scholarship scheme is based on academic achievement and financial need and we will award scholarships to applicants who most closely meet or exceed the criteria for the award.

To apply you need to have received an offer to study on an eligible course starting in September 2018.

1. Scholarship details

This year we are offering two international scholarships with different values.

International Excellence Scholarship

55 awards of £6,000 as a tuition fee waiver applied to the first year of study only. Applicants must have applied for a full time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2018

Santander International scholarship

5 awards of a £3,000 cash award in the first year of study only.

Available to international students who are nationals of, and residing in, one of the following Santander Universities network countries at the time of application: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela. Other countries may be considered at Brunel’s discretion.

Applicants must have applied for a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme starting in September 2018 and have normally have achieved the international equivalent of a UK upper second class honours degree (2:1) or higher.

How to register your interest and be considered for a scholarship

To be considered for a scholarship applicants must complete an application form registering their interest by midnight [24:00 GMT] by the deadline of 31 May 2018. Applications will only be accepted if all sections of the application form have been completed and if the applicant is holding an offer on a course starting in September 2018. Brunel will then assess each application for suitability against one of our two scholarship packages.

Successful applicants will be contacted within four weeks of the deadline. Should any scholarship funds remain unallocated, we reserve the right to offer a limited number of scholarships to late applicants and will advertise these after July 2018. We will endeavour to make awards until all available funds are allocated.

Awards will be finalised once all offer conditions have been met in September.

All Scholarship holders will expected to represent Brunel as ambassadors throughout their time at the University and to assist with peer support and promotional activities as required. Scholarship winners will be contacted by the International Recruitment or Marketing team as and when participation is required.
