University of York offer New International Scholarships for the year 2019

University of York, one of the leading universities in the UK is delighted to offer 90 scholarships to the competent high-achieving International students who intend to study full time undergraduate and post graduate taught programs for the year 2019. These prestigious scholarships in the form of tuition fee discount are offered to recognise the academic excellence of the students.

Academic Excellence scholarships

These scholarships are split into three categories:

  • Global Academic Excellence scholarships: offering a £5,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study. 
  • Country-specific Academic Excellence scholarships: offering a tuition fee discount of up to £10,000 for the first year of study. 
  • Region-specific Academic Excellence scholarships: offering a tuition fee discount of up to £10,000 for the first year of study. 

 Vice-Chancellor's scholarships

Ten scholarships offering a tuition fee discount of £5,000 for each year of study for up to three years, for exceptionally high achieving students 

 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer before the deadline
  • Applicants will need to provide a 500 word statement explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship
  • Applicants must be intending to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught Masters course on the University of York campus
