Increasing number of UK universities to pay international student quarantine fees
An increasing number of UK universities are offering quarantine funding support to international students ahead of September 2021 entry.
Following the introduction of 'traffic light travel', there are different rules to follow, depending on which category the country you are travelling from has been classified. In the form of tuition fee discounts, reimbursement, scholarships and hardship funds, UK universities are now ensuring that whatever category your home nation falls into, the maximum amount of support possible will be made available for students to travel.
The likes of the University of Bristol, University of York and University of Lincoln will all be reimbursing students for the cost of the hotel stay (£1,750) if you are from a 'red' country, and also covering 'amber' and 'green' COVID-19 test packages where required.
