UK–The most preferred destination among international students for studying STEM

17 November 2015

From 2002-03, there’s a 18% rise in the number of students applying for STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) courses, and every year there’s a rise of 3-6% in STEM courses. In 2013-14, 98,000 were accepted in Stem undergraduate courses, highest number ever.

In a recent survey conducted by the British Council, the international students studying stem rated the UK highest for the quality of teaching, courses, and resources.  When researchers asked post graduate stem students the primary reasons for choosing UK to study:

  • Reputation for high quality education(40%)
  • Excellent career prospect(28%)

UK is Forefront of innovation at their subject(23%)

I had a very great experience right from the start to finish; All the staff were really great and very helpful. I recommend SI-UK for all students who are planning to study in the UK.
