Swansea University Introduces a New Course in Cyber Security
Swansea University has recently launched a new postgraduate course in Cyber Security which is open for applications from international students for the September 2019 academic intake.
MSc in Cyber Security is a 1 year full-time taught programme. It is also offered as a 2 year part-time or 3 year part-time course for international students. Computer Science at Swansea University is recognised for teaching and research excellence and is ranked 8th in the Uk overall by the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.
The course covers issues of modern technology spanning across topics such as personal data security and privacy, cyberterrorism, cybercrime and mobile security. Course modules include artificial intelligence, formal modelling, cryptography, information security management and penetration testing.
Swansea features in the UK Top 30 of the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019. It has also been declared Welsh University of the Year 2019 and was also the University of the Year Runner-Up.
