Strathclyde launches new Civil Engineering programme
The University of Strathclyde has launched a new MSc in Civil Engineering with optional industrial placement programme for January 2017 entry.
The course is suitable for graduates with a background in any discipline of civil engineering, but applications will also be considered for students with a degree in environmental engineering, earth-science, maths, physics and mechanical engineering.
The course has four optional streams, including:
- Structural Engineering & Project Management
- Geotechnical Engineering & Project Management
- Geoenvironmental Engineering & Project Management
- Water Engineering & Project Management
The programme lasts 18 months from January 2017, with the placement lasting 8 to 12 weeks during June and September.
