Queen's University Belfast offer International PhD Awards worth £300K
The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is offering International PhD Awards worth over £300,000. The university is offering these international PhD awards to support more International students to study their PhD at Queen’s at the heart of Belfast city.
Queen’s AHSS faculty is an intellectual powerhouse spanning traditional humanities and social science subjects to innovative and cutting-edge areas in Creative Arts and applied professional studies. The postgraduate programmes are driven and delivered by world-leading scholars in their field. Over 40% of research undertaken having been ranked in the Top 25% for their subject area.
This is a great opportunity for international students wishing to study in Belfast to avail 15 accommodation awards on offer in 2018 for PhD study in any of the five schools in the Faculty. The awards will cover 3 years of accommodation in Queen’s halls of residence. Each award is valued at approximately £20,000

Eligibility
Applicants must have
- Applied to a School within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences only at Queen’s University Belfast
- Received an offer of a place from a School within the AHSS Faculty to be considered for this scheme.
The Award is available to international students only for PhDs commencing in 2018. Applicants cannot be in receipt of any other funding supporting their PhD studies.
The deadline for application is 6th April 2018. Award winners will be notified by 31st May.
