Nottingham Trent University wins International prize at Whatuni Student Choice Awards

18 April 2016

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards took place in London last week, with Nottingham Trent University winning the International award.

Voted for by students, Nottingham Trent narrowly edged Swansea University and St Mary’s University Twickenham to win the award. Professor Nigel Healey, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) at Nottingham Trent, said: “At Nottingham Trent University, we have put internationalisation at the heart of our new strategy. We have worked hard to welcome international students to our city, encourage home students to learn from them and celebrate our international diversity on campus.”

Nottingham Trent performed well across all ten categories at the event, also finishing 7th in the overall best university award.

I was really impressed by the professional atmosphere. The knowledge of UK universities really helped me find my ideal destination.
