Masters in Pizza is now a reality in UK
How often do people have told you to follow your passion? Well, it’s now a reality. Students now can study and get a degree in Pizza which is already a billion dollar industry globally.
Manchester Metropolitan University, announced this week that it would be creating 1500 apprenticeships in partnerships with the world’s leading chain of Pizza maker, Pizza Hut. The degree program will last for five years. The students will not only be trained in making Pizza but also in food production and financial analysis. The apprenticeship will cover academics and practical skills.
“Over the next few years, we will work hard to provide our apprentices and team members with the best training and development so that we can equip them with skills for life, not just for working in a restaurant,” Kathryn Austin, Pizza Hut’s director of HR and marketing.
